معذرةً أيها العيد ، لقد أتيت كعادتك بالفرحة والسعادة ، لكنا لم نفرح ،ولم نشعر بالسعادة، كيف لنا أن نفرح وفي غزة مئات الآلاف من الأطفال والنساء ملىء الحزن والإحباط قلوبهم ،فقدوا كثيراً من أحبتهم وجفت دموعهم ، وتحطمت آمالهم ،وتلاشت أحلامهم، كيف نفرح وهناك الأشلاء تتناثر وتتساقط أمام أهاليهم وأحبتهم ، كيف نفرح ونحن نشاهد أطفالاً يبكون ويموتون من شدة الجوع ، كيف نفرح ونحن نشاهد هول الإجرام والتدمير لإهالينا في في غزة.

فـ قلوبنا تنزُف وأعيُننا تذرف والآمُنا كبيرة وفقدنا عظيم
فلن نشعر بالسعادة والفرحة حتى يفرح أهالي غزة وتضمنا نفائح القدس العطرة ويسقط الظالم وينتصر المظلوم .
